WEEKLY CLUB RIDES
Ever popular and the bedrock of the club, the Sunday morning club rides are a great way to meet up with others, and to enjoy a pleasant time with cycling and a cafe stop. Prospective members are always more than welcome to meet up with us for one of these rides.

The members are organised into separate groups to cater for differing abilities/aspirations, and also to ensure that the groups are not too large.
The groups are “Easy”, “Regular” or “Training”. Same start time and elevenses venue but different routes. Alternatively, you can make your own way to elevenses.
We are usually home between 12:30 and 13:00. The distance including the ride from Worthing will typically be about 40 - 50 miles, albeit that the "Training" group may well do a longer ride. There are car parking spaces at Washington Village.
All riders are included in the Annual Club Runs Attendance Points Trophy Competition. This runs from 1st October to 30th September each year.
Points are awarded as follows:
The rider with the most points at the end of the season receives a prestigious trophy and the presentation is at the club's Annual Awards Dinner.
The Runs List is available to all members via the Club Website and the Club Notice Board. This includes notes of events where club members may be involved in so that it might be possible to do both or give competitors some support before coming to the elevenses venue.
Runs Committee members are not always able to attend, so on those occasions make your own route, again to suit those present and not forgetting to report your attendance. Those people who are unfamiliar with riding in a group should familiarize themselves with the Club's Group Riding Etiquette procedure, available on the website or the Club Notice Board.

If there are more than 6 people want to ride with the social or medium section then that section will have to split up so that no more than 6 people ride together.

Above is a short runs list running until 10th January, when, hopefully more elevenses venues will be open to us in the New Year. The next runs list will be circulated in January.
Although the above listed premises are open there are limited facilities, you may be required to eat/drink outside, make use of the necessary hand cleaning requirements and possibly no toilets. Menus are going to be limited.
Maximum group sizes to be 6 riders, to comply with COVID requirements.
The suspension of the points for the Club Runs Attendance Competition has now been removed
